Job Summary:
A Clinical Nurse (CN) position is available in Palo Alto, California, on a Medical Surgical Oncology Floor. This role involves providing comprehensive, evidence-based patient care within the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act, hospital policies, and standards of care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The Clinical Nurse will assess patients, coordinate care, and support patient and family education, all while contributing to a healing environment and professional development.
Job Details:
- Location: Palo Alto, CA
- Shift Time: Rotating
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: CA-RN (Registered Nurse) license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; Able to communicate effectively in English; No experience required
- Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse will perform all steps of the nursing process, collaborates with the healthcare team, and models leadership in clinical practice. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, clinical competence, team participation, and ongoing professional learning.
