Job Summary:
The occupation is for an Operating Room Technician (ORT) specializing in Surgical Services, located in Ketchum, Idaho. The role involves providing skilled surgical assistance in a busy operating room environment. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of assignment. This position requires adherence to specific eligibility criteria and operational standards as detailed below.

Job Details:

  • Address: 100 Hospital Way, KETCHUM, ID 83340
  • Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, typically from 07:00 to 15:30, with flexibility to adjust as needed
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Start Date: 07/20/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Certified Operating Room Technician (CST), must be NCCT or NBSTSA certified; minimum of 3 years of experience with a strong orthopedic background; previous travel experience preferred.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, with day shifts; call responsibilities start at 15:30, with approximately one night shift per week or four weeknights per month, increasing if staffing levels decrease. One full weekend per month (Friday to Sunday) is anticipated. Call response time must be within 30 minutes. The call schedule includes weekdays from 15:30 until 07:00 the following morning, and 24-hour coverage on weekends and holidays.
  • Additional Information: Candidates' permanent addresses must be outside the facility's 50-mile radius rule to qualify. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting, and candidates should be prepared to assist with sterilization and turnover duties, including endoscopy. Orientation includes pairing with a preceptor to discuss unit norms and values.
