Job Summary:
A registered nurse position is available in Nashville, Tennessee, on a cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role involves caring for patients with various cardiac conditions, including heart failure, cardiomyopathy, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and post-cardiac surgery care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); relevant experience to meet the role requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac or step-down units is beneficial.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This position involves working on a 23-bed unit serving patients with advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathy, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and post-cardiac surgery. The core staffing plan utilizes a variable staffing grid incorporating Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for patient care on each team.
