Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Ithaca, New York, involves providing direct patient care within the Maternal Child Health department. This role requires collaboration with unit leadership to ensure the delivery of person-centered care, addressing physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of patients and families. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Ithaca, NY
• Position: Registered Nurse Maternal Child Health, Labor and Delivery Department
• Shift Time: Days
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, relevant certifications (if applicable), minimum education requirements, and 0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Postpartum experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will assess patients and families, develop and implement care plans, prioritize both expected and unanticipated needs, demonstrate critical thinking, and act as a resource for peers. Candidates should have Labor and Delivery experience; postpartum experience is preferred.
