Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Postpartum care for a position located in McKinney, Texas. The selected candidate will provide postpartum nursing services in a unit that primarily cares for postpartum moms and gynecological surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. This is a full-time position with day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling at least 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: McKinney, Texas
• Position: Postpartum Floor RN
• Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (Day shift)
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Mother and Baby care experience, no minimum experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous mother-baby unit experience is highly desired
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit has approximately 25 beds, employs Meditech electronic medical records, and CPN skills are relevant. The unit primarily cares for postpartum mothers and GYN surgery patients. The candidate should have a warm and bubbly personality to fit well within the team.
