Job Summary:
A Travel Nurse position specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is available in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves providing critical care to patients across various ICU units, including Trauma, Cardiovascular, Medical, Neuro, and Surgical Intensive Care Units. Candidates are required to bring their valid California nursing license on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to start on 07/27/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Santa Rosa, California
• Shift Hours: 12-hour nights
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Schedule: Nights, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications, two years of ICU experience, proficiency in Epic charting system, and at least one year of recent ICU experience covered by two references.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with associated skills such as arterial line management, chest tube insertion/removal, ventilator management, CVP monitoring, and other critical care procedures.
• Float: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby. Floating refusal may result in assignment termination.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to work on two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at the time of submission. Candidates must have at least two references from the last three years, with one recent charge nurse or lead.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Other Requirements: Cardiology and neuro ICU skills preferred, including management of arterial lines, ventilators, and critical care protocols.
