Description
Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) registered nurse position is located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The facility requires candidates to have an active and clear registered nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The role involves working day shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 30% of shifts occurring from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., including occasional weekend work. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

- Required Qualifications: Active/clear RN license, BLS certification, previous travel experience preferred, experience in general surgery, robotics (DaVinci & Mako Orthopedic), urology, ear, nose, throat (ENT), neuro (including cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomy), plastics (including abdominoplasty and breast augmentation), gynecology, and orthopedics (including total knee replacements and anterior/posterior approach hips).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical records, Surgicount, and TECSYS.
- Schedule: Shift time of 8 hours per day, working from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 30% of shifts from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and a work schedule including 6 weekdays and 6 weekends of calls over a 6-week period.
