Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) in Weatherford, TX. This position involves providing care on a general Medical Surgical unit requiring a minimum of two years of related experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, with rotating weekends.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, at least 2 years of specialty Med/Surg experience, and 2+ years of hospital experience. Proven competence with Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech, and advanced skills in general Medical Surgical nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required as needed.
• Additional Information: The RN is responsible for decision-making and actions within the domain of nursing practice, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment, and adhering to facility policies and standards. Competency in patient care aspects such as patience, bedside reporting, hourly rounding, and service recovery is required.

Dress Code:

• RN: Navy Blue scrubs with Med City embroidery.
• Nails: Clean and healthy, no artificial or gel nails.
• Hair: Neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer.
• Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible.
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
