Job Summary
An inpatient nursing position is available in Janesville, Wisconsin, for qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Medical Surgical Neurology. This travel nursing role requires candidates to bring their Wisconsin nursing license on the first day. The position involves working night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
- Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Wisconsin nursing license, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, recent experience in Medical Surgical Neurology. Education verification is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neurology or trauma units, additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are desirable.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Float: Travel Registered Nurse may be required to float to other units.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have current Wisconsin licensure, NIHSS, and BLS, and are required to bring their license on the first day. This position may require working every other weekend and holiday as needed.
