Description

Job Summary:
The neuro trauma step down unit registered nurse (RN) position is located in Springfield, Missouri. This position involves providing direct patient care utilizing the nursing process on a specialized intermediate care unit. Candidates must bring their current RN license on the first day of assignment. The role requires a minimum of one year of ICU inpatient experience and availability to work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Required Qualifications: Current RN license eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri; BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association; 1 year ICU inpatient experience from an accredited facility; location in Missouri; flexible to work night shifts.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required on a rotational basis to critical care cluster or medical/surgical units.
  • Additional Information: The RN must utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers, coordinate patient care with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and perform duties aligned with the organizations mission, values, and standards. Physical demands include standing and walking most of the shift, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and high-risk exposure to blood and body fluids.
