Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves providing direct patient care in a busy urban trauma center within the Emergency Department. Candidates are required to bring their valid RN license on the first day. The position is scheduled for the evenings and is a 13-week assignment with flexible guaranteed hours of either 36 or 48 per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shift, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license that meets the criteria for licensure in Missouri or is currently licensed in Missouri; Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association (AHA); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (must be obtained prior to start if not submitted).
• Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department in a Level 1 trauma center or 2 years in a Level 2 trauma facility, with high-acuity trauma/pediatrics experience preferred.
• Float: None.
• Additional Information: The role utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record system. The candidate must demonstrate clinical expertise, have strong human relations and communication skills, and be flexible and decisive. The position involves working in a high-volume trauma center that is also a regional burn, stroke, and STEMI center.
