Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy trauma and emergency care environment. Candidates are required to bring their current RN license on the first day of the assignment. The position offers the opportunity to work in a level one trauma, stroke, STEMI, and regional burn center, with a focus on delivering acute care to diverse patient populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license eligible for licensure in Missouri; BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from AHA; TNCC and NIHSS certifications; 1-year experience in an Emergency Department at a Level 1 trauma center or 2 years at a Level 2 trauma facility; at least 1 year of experience in trauma/pediatrics, high acuity preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma/pediatrics, 200+ patients per day, high acuity experience.
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintains confidentiality, coordinates with other departments, and adheres to hospital standards. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in a climate-controlled environment.
