Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Travel Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a position located in Roswell, New Mexico. This role involves providing care in both ICU and Stepdown units, with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Roswell, New Mexico
- Shift: Days, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend (EOW), floating, and call required
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in ICU or Stepdown units, current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications, Cerner electronic health record system experience, valid licensing
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in float to Stepdown and Medical-Surgical (MS) departments, ability to work with a patient ratio of approximately 1:2 to 1:4 in a facility with 16 beds
- Float: Float rotation may be required to Stepdown and Medical-Surgical (MS) departments
- Additional Information: Call is required but rarely needed; at least one Winter holiday is required; blocked scheduling and 48-hour weekly guarantees may be requested and must be included in the submittal; maximum requested return to open (RTO) is one week
