Job Summary
The location is in Lewiston, Maine. This is a Registered Nurse (RN) position specializing in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) within a Coronary Care Unit. The role involves providing patient care for adult and geriatric populations with a focus on cardiac telemetry, including stable STEMI and post-cardiac procedures, in a 20-bed facility. The shift scheduled is from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed per week.
Job Details
- Position: RN in the Intermediate Care/ Cardiac Telemetry specialty, located in the Coronary Care Unit at the facility.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 36 hours per week minimum.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, two years of experience in cardiac or intermediate care, ACLS certification, experience with Epic electronic health record system, strong cardiac and IMC experience, flexibility personality fit, and the ability to work night shifts.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac telemetry and intermediate care.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The unit features advanced cardiac monitoring equipment including Philips monitors, and the patient population consists of adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as stable STEMI and post-cardiac procedures. The dress code is navy blue scrubs.
