Job Summary:
The ICU Cardiovascular Nurse is based in San Jose, California. This position involves providing specialized care in the intensive care unit with a focus on cardiovascular health. The role requires strong clinical skills to support critically ill patients within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: 250 HOSPITAL PKY, San Jose, CA 95119
- Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Registered Nurse License in California; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications; 1-year recent full-time experience in an ICU setting within the last 3 years
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field; Two (2) years of recent ICU nursing experience; NIH Stroke Scale Certificate; CCRN certification; Experience with Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent is a plus
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours weekly
- Additional Information: The position emphasizes skills-based hiring and does not require a qualification assessment.
