Job Summary
The healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Unit in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position involves providing patient care in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to float within the skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed. The role is suitable for RNs with experience in Progressive Care Units (PCU), Medical-Surgical Telemetry, or Acute Care setting.
Job Details
- Location: Milwaukee, WI 53211
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours shifts
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 07/20/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, 2 years of experience in PCU, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, or Acute Care setting, ability to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles, availability to work nights and 12-hour shifts.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in step-down units, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Additional Information: The role involves working in a unit with the greatest need, whether it is a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry, based on the traveler's skills. The RN will be responsible for adhering to facility standards and may be required to float onsite or within a 40-mile radius to meet operational needs.
