Description
Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Main Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for an Endoscopy Laboratory in Birmingham, Alabama. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care in a general surgical environment with experience in ENT, Da Vinci XI surgical systems, gynecology, neurovascular, and vascular procedures. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience in the specialty, with travel experience preferred, and an active compact or Alabama license.
Job Details:
- Location: Birmingham, Alabama
- Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 07/13/2026
- Schedule: Scheduled 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience in the specialty, current Cerner EMR experience if starting before 07/25, active compact or Alabama license, and at least 1 year of experience in similar roles
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ENT, Da Vinci XI robotic surgical system, gynecology, neurovascular, and vascular procedures; OR experience with general surgery
- Additional Information: On-call responsibilities include 2 weekdays and 1 weekend day per month; RTO periods between 07/19 and 08/08 cannot be approved. Candidate must already hold an active license in the required state. No travel is required for this assignment.
