Description

Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Staff Nurse (RN) position is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves providing holistic, patient-centered care to critically ill customers and their families, within a fast-paced environment. The RN will execute nursing standards, assess patient conditions, and develop care plans, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The position may require floating to different ICU units and adult/geriatric care as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Minnesota nursing license; 1 or more years of relevant ICU experience; current skills checklist pertinent to the specialty; documentation of work history; two supervisory references with employment dates; ability to work in the USA or eligibility noted on profile; submitted RTO requests at time of application.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience interpreting cardiac rhythms; familiarity with Impella and balloon pumps; experience with fresh open heart surgery patients; adult and geriatric population experience; Epic electronic medical record experience.
  • Certifications: AHA or ARC Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Special Requirements: Knowledge in interpretation of cardiac rhythms; experience with Impella and balloon pump devices; familiarity with Epic Electronic Health Record system.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must include RTO requests at the time of submission, as requests may not be honored afterward.
