Description
Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse (RN) position is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care across different adult populations within a dynamic ICU environment. The RN will execute nursing standards including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires adaptability to float to various ICU units and other medical/surgical units as staffing needs dictate.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: One year of nursing experience, current ACLS (American Heart Association or ARC) certification, current BLS certification, Minnesota state licensure, Epic electronic medical records experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fresh open heart surgery patients, interpretation of cardiac rhythms, experience with Impella and balloon pumps, adult and geriatric population care.
- Additional Information: RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal; NMH may not honor RTO requests after submittal.
