Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Orthopedic care in Bangor, Maine. Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the RN will perform patient care functions in accordance with the State of Maine Board of Nursing and facility policies. The Clinical Leader or Charge Nurse will provide direct supervision during the assigned shift.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Maine RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required within 30 days of hire. Experience in Medical Surgical Orthopedic nursing preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and MOAB or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications are preferred but not required.
- Additional Information: If traveler resides within 50 miles of the facility, a $10 per hour decrease will apply. Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. The healthcare provider can cancel up to 3 shifts within a 13-week contract.
