Description
Job Summary:
This registered nurse (RN) position in the medical-surgical rehabilitation unit is located in Dallas, Texas. The role involves providing specialized inpatient care to patients undergoing recovery from stroke, amputation, major surgeries, and other neurological or traumatic conditions. The RN will participate in a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program, contributing to patient recovery and improving quality of life for the patient population.
Job Details:
- Location: Dallas, Texas
- Schedule: Night shift, start time 6:45 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN certification, BLS certification, associate degree or bachelors degree in nursing, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, experience with Cerner or Epic electronic health record systems, valid nursing license in the state of Texas
- Preferred Qualifications: Problem solver, warm, welcoming personality, leadership skills, critical thinking skills, experience caring for stroke, amputation, and major surgery patients
- Additional Information: The unit has 50 beds with a patient ratio of 1:7, utilizing IV pumps, EKG machine, Bari bed, and med dispense equipment. The clinical team provides inpatient care for adult patients. The first day report time is 6:45 PM. Parking is available in the main parking lot.
