Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse located in Marshall, Texas. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive care in a high-acuity environment, including trauma, medical, critical care, and pediatric patients. The role requires independent practice, clinical competence, and the ability to manage complex situations within the emergency department setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; RN License in the state of Texas or a compact license; current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications; 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Moderate Sedation Competency, Epic Experience, Triage Skills
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other Emergency Department departments with the Good Shepherd system if needed
• Additional Information: The nurse will provide routine and complex care, assessing and addressing patients' physical and emotional needs, administering medications and treatments, documenting clinical information, and educating patients and families. Training includes a designated new nurses orientation within the first 30 days and annual competency validation.
