Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Medford, Oregon, for a surgical technology position in a multi-operating room environment. The role involves supporting various surgical procedures across different specialties, ensuring proper instrument and equipment handling, and maintaining operational efficiency during surgeries. The position offers a structured orientation and scheduled shifts to support optimal clinical operations.

Job Details:

  • Location: Medford, OR (zip code 97504)
  • Shift: 3- 12 hour shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: CST certification, BLS certification, minimum of 0 years of experience, ability to work in a high-volume operating room environment, and eligibility for a 90-day temporary license if licensed outside Oregon.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience at a multi-operating room facility is a plus.
  • Licensure: CST license required; non-Oregon licensed candidates may apply for a temporary license.
  • Additional Information:
    • Local candidate restrictions with a 50-mile radius.
    • Call experience required; approximately 50 hours of standby call per month with a 15-minute response time.
    • Floating to other units or departments is not applicable.
    • Nurse to patient ratio is approximately 2.5:1, with teams consisting of an RN and a scrub tech or additional relief staff.
    • OR-provided scrubs required.
    • Non-billable orientation hours are 12 hours during the first week.
    • Cancellation policy permits 24 hours' notice; the client may cancel up to 13 weeks or provide two weeks' notice.
    • Charting system utilized is EPIC.
