Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Medical Professional in West Burlington, Iowa. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients on a Medical Care Unit that may include various medical diagnoses and psychiatric issues. The position requires interaction with patients, their families, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice. The assignment features a schedule of 36 hours per week with floating responsibilities and weekend rotations.

Job Details:

• Location: West Burlington, Iowa
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours shifts
• Schedule: Estimated hours per week is 36.
• Required Qualifications: Certification, Education Degree, and Experience No minimum experience required; Epic Electronic Medical Record experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Floating required. Weekend rotation requirement. The unit is shared with Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Float rotation may be required. The care team utilizes Epic electronic health records. The unit has a less acute patient population including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric issues. Although the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, occasional on-call duty may occur, with a response time of within one hour. The practice involves adherence to the nursing process including assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, delivered in a multidisciplinary environment.
