Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) Nurse position is available in Wyoming. The role involves providing direct, patient-centered nursing care to a diverse group of medical patients on a temporary basis. The Med/Surg Nurse will follow established protocols and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a reputable facility.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state RN license, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association, and at least 0 years of clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a community hospital setting is desirable.
- Additional Information: The candidate must attach a SageWest coversheet to their submission and follow the specified template for consideration. Responsibilities include preparing and administering medications, monitoring vital signs, responding to life-saving situations, educating patients, and performing procedures such as dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts. The role also involves participation in discharge planning and accurate documentation of care.
