Description

Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse specializing in Ambulatory Care within a Clinic setting in New York provides safe, competent, and quality patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice. This role involves assessing patient needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, 7.5 hours per day, minimum of 37.5 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification, at least 2 years of ambulatory care nursing experience, and 1 year of travel experience for travel positions (not required for per diem roles). Experience with EPIC electronic health record system highly preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in nursing is preferred; Associate degree considered with relevant experience or active enrollment in a BSN program.
  • Duties: Deliver evidence-based outpatient nursing care, assist with patient intake, education, and care coordination, perform charge nurse responsibilities as needed, and document all care thoroughly and accurately.
  • Additional Information: The role emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, clinical documentation, process improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
