Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry in New York. This position involves delivering high-quality patient care on a Med Surg/Telemetry unit. The role requires applying nursing principles and evidence-based practices to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care for a diverse patient population.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 11.5 hours shift time
- Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM, every other week required, with weekends included
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 34.5 hours
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: NYS Registered Nurse license, BLS, ACLS, Telemetry and Ventilator skills, 2 years Telemetry and critical care experience, minimum 2 years RN experience, 1 year travel nursing experience (preferred for travel positions but not required for per diem roles), EPIC experience highly preferred, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or relevant experience/active matriculation in a BSN program, ACLS certification, ability to work on a unit with average census of 22-24 beds, staffing ratio of 1:5 for 12-hour shifts.

- Additional Information: Position involves performing charge nurse duties, coordinating supplies, facilitating patient throughput, and contributing to quality and safety initiatives. The unit emphasizes Relationship Centered Care with a focus on patient experience, safety practices, and ongoing professional development. Responsibilities include conducting purposeful hourly rounding, patient education, collaboration with healthcare team, and documentation in compliance with standards.
