Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room nurse in Beverly, Massachusetts. This position involves providing preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care in a busy surgical setting. The role requires clinical expertise in surgical procedures, especially in orthopedics and cataracts surgery, with flexibility to float to other facilities if needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist or Nurse with at least 1 year of OR experience; Current certification in NBSTSA and BLS-AHA; Must have EPIC experience; Strong background in orthopedic and cataracts surgery; Previous travel experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Spine surgeries is a plus.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position covers two surgical centers: one with 4 operating rooms and the other with 10. Services include General, Gynecologic, Orthopedic, Urology, Ear, Nose, and Throat, Vascular, Robotics, and Spine surgeries. Candidates must be able to scrub DaVinci Robotics cases and orthopedic procedures. Call shifts may be required, including weeknights and weekend shifts, with a response time of 30 minutes. The facility is highly traveler-friendly.
