Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Farmington, Connecticut. This position requires experienced OR nurses who are proficient in circulating during complex ortho, spine, and neuro surgeries. The role involves variable hours based on departmental needs, including on-call shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays, with a 30-minute report time.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have 4-5 years of OR RN or combined OR experience. Circulating experience is required; scrub experience is highly preferred but not mandatory. Preference for OR RNs skilled in scrub procedures for neuro, spine, vascular, and orthopedic surgeries, with familiarity in DiVinci robotic cases. All candidates must be experienced in circulating during surgeries involving ortho, spine, and neuro disciplines and able to perform independently. Must be able to accept Covid medical or religious exemption. Time off requests should be minimized and approved prior to confirmation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro, spine, vascular, and orthopedic surgeries, including robotic cases.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with possible reassignment within 30 miles of the original facility.
• Additional Information: The position involves mandatory overtime, with staff considered part of the unit rotation pool to ensure adequate coverage. Scrubs are provided, and candidates should be prepared for variable hours and on-call duties.
