Job Details:

• Location: West Valley City, Utah
• Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every third weekend required; holiday coverage required
• Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association) certification; valid license to submit; minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• Specialty: Psychiatric Unit (Psych)
• Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric care
• Certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Certifications & Education: Valid license to submit; minimum of 2 years of pertinent clinical experience
• Patient Population: Geriatric psychiatric patients, including those with dementia and bipolar disorder
• Patient Management: Occasional use of physical restraints, access to a seclusion room not staffed for 1:1 monitoring
• Charting System: EPIC
• Additional notes: Unit includes monitor techs; RN staff read strips; no tele monitoring on this unit
• Shift notes: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.; every other week coverage required
• Cancellation Policy: The hospital may cancel up to four shifts within a 13-week assignment or three shifts for shorter assignments
