Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) care, located in Petoskey, Michigan. This position involves providing high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical Unit with diverse patient populations. The role offers opportunities to work in a collaborative environment focused on positive patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys), BLS (AHA) certification, at least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical (MS) nursing, and a skills checklist completed within the past year.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level II or I Trauma experience; travel experience preferred.
- Additional Information: The unit is a 60-bed Medical Surgical floor with a variety of patient conditions, including post-surgical cases, medical conditions, traumas, strokes, and inpatient hospice. Nursing care is patient-centered, emphasizing safety and quality. New team members are welcomed and supported, with a focus on evidence-based and holistic care.
