Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position is based in Evanston, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized critical care to neuro and stroke patients during night shifts. The position requires expertise in EPIC charting and ICU procedures, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic facility environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Evanston, Illinois
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, nights shift
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Nursing License, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, EPIC charting experience, 2+ years of ICU experience in Neuro and Stroke units, successful pass of EKG test with 80% or higher, submission of resume (updated), skills checklist (completed within 12 months), one reference (within 12 months), Illinois license verification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Flexibility to float to other units and facilities (Skokie, Highland Park, Glenbrook), ability to work weekends on an every-other or every-weekend basis, availability for orientation on Mondays.
• Additional Information: Orientation hours are 8 hours with pay, scheduled prior to start date. Credentials are due Thursday before the scheduled start date. The position involves working with a ratio of 1:2 or 1:3.
