Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Float Position in Johnson City, New York. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a Medical Surgical setting, with responsibilities centered on patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and patient education. The RN will support a collaborative team environment and adhere to all regulatory and organizational standards to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.
• Required Qualifications: RN license in New York State, BLS certification (American Heart Association, Health and Safety Institute, or American Red Cross), nursing experience of at least 3 years, management experience of up to 3 years, and at least 5 years of direct patient care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting, professional certification in a related nursing specialty, relevant skills certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC.
• Additional Information: The position requires flexibility to float across units as needed, with a focus on medical-surgical care. Candidate submission must include the RS cover sheet, resume, skills checklist, and copies of valid certifications and licenses.
