Job Summary:
Endoscopy Technician position located in San Marcos, Texas. This full-time role involves assisting with patient care in the endoscopy department, preparing, maintaining, and cleaning equipment, and supporting invasive endoscopic procedures. The schedule consists of four 10-hour days, with shifts beginning between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM based on caseload demands.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 4 Days 10 Hours. Shifts start between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. At least 2 years of experience working in the Operating Room or Endoscopy Unit required. Previous experience with gastrointestinal endoscopy preferred. BLS certification from the American Heart Association required. GI certification from SGNA preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Gastrointestinal (G.I.) experience, certification from SGNA.
• Additional Information: This position requires rotation shifts and on-call availability. Candidates must be skilled in establishing and maintaining sterile fields, assisting with endoscopy procedures, and understanding sterilization concepts and aseptic techniques.
