Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) positions are available in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves providing advanced patient care in a specialized unit focused on adult and geriatric populations. The position requires a compassionate and adaptable RN committed to delivering high-quality cardiac and intermediate care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and a minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac or intermediate care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac patients, stable ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), post-cardiac procedures, or in a medical intermediate care setting.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit features 20 beds with patient ratios of 1:4 in intermediate care and 1:5 in telemetry. Equipment includes Philips monitoring systems, and the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system used is Epic. The patient population is primarily adult and geriatric, with no pediatric cases.
