Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room registered nurse position available in Midland, Michigan. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in an ambulatory surgery setting with a focus on pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient management. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and ensuring quality care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, working 12 hours per shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: 2+ years of registered nursing (RN) experience, including pre/post-operative experience, Phase II experience, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) experience, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience, Michigan/MI state license active via LARA and/or Nursys, and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic EMR experience is preferred.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have a current skills checklist relevant to the ambulatory specialty, with documentation completed within the past year. Two supervisory reference forms are required, completed within the last two years. The position does not require weekend work or mandatory on-call; flexibility to take on call is optional based on availability.
  • Submission Requirements: Applicants must document current pertinent skills, supervisory references, BLS and ACLS certifications, and Michigan state licensure. Candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility location which is situated in Midland, Michigan.
