Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position available in Simi Valley, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for critically ill patients based on established standards and the nursing process. The nurse will supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff, coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members, and utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ICU experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
• Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation; analyzes assessment data; develops and implements care plans; evaluates progress; collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers; provides patient education; participates in discharge planning; delegates duties appropriately; performs other related duties as assigned
• Additional Information: The position requires commitment to safety and wellbeing of both staff and patients. All associates must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
