Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a healthcare facility in Greenville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients in the ICU setting, with the potential for float responsibilities within inpatient units of varying skill levels. The position requires a minimum of two years of ICU experience and offers a night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts.
Job Details:
- Location: Greenville, North Carolina
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: Licenses for North Carolina or a Compact License, certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), and a minimum of two years' ICU experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with travel assignments and the ability to float to all inpatient units of skill level and below, including ICU, Intermediate, and Stepdown units.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information:
- The position involves floating to all inpatient units of skill level and below, with specific units including ICU, Intermediate, and Stepdown.
- Candidates will receive an email with shift details around 0400 or 1640 on the day of their shift, allowing time to plan their commute.
- The facility is located approximately 35 minutes from one of the designated hospitals and about 60 minutes from another, with travel expected between these locations.
