Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) at a healthcare facility located in Greenville, North Carolina. The ICU RN will provide specialized patient care within the ICU, with responsibilities including floating to inpatient units of varying skill levels such as ICU and intermediate care. The position involves night shifts and is scheduled for a 13-week assignment with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, 12 hours per shift, with a start date of 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid North Carolina or Compact License; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 12 years of experience in ICU nursing
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience floating to inpatient units of various skill levels, including ICU and intermediate care units
- Float: Float rotation is not required
- Additional Information: The ICU RN may float to all inpatient units of skill level and below, including ICU and intermediate care. The assignment involves daily email updates around 0400 or 1640 to help plan travel. The facility is located at 2100 Stantonburg Road, Greenville, NC 27834, and requires minimal experience beyond the minimum qualifications specified.
