Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Home Healthcare setting in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care in patients homes, coordinating care plans, and promoting positive health outcomes. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring standards of quality and safety are maintained.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing, licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina, with at least 1 year of nursing experience caring for acute and chronically ill patients.
- Additional Information: Provides direct patient care in a home setting, completes patient assessments, develops care plans in collaboration with patients and families, and adheres to healthcare standards and policies. Demonstrates cultural competence, prioritizes tasks effectively, and applies research to practice. Maintains compliance with healthcare standards and promotes a safe environment.
