Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician (OR Technician) for a high-capacity operating room at a healthcare facility in Boston, Massachusetts. The position involves working a rotating schedule of days, evenings, and nights, with a focus on supporting surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment. The assignment is contract-based for a standard period of 13 weeks, starting on July 27, 2026, with the possibility of flexibility based on the needs of the facility.
Job Details:
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts
- Shift Schedule: Rotating 4x10-hour shifts, including day shifts (7:00 am - 5:30 pm), evening shifts (1:00 pm - 11:00 pm), and 12-hour weekend shifts. The schedule may include two weeks of night shifts during the contract period.
- Schedule: 8/10 (meaning the shift hours are from August 10th or related to the start date, as specified) with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as an Operating Room Technician, current licensure or registration as applicable, minimum of 0 years of experience in a high-capacity operating room environment, ability to work in Boston, Massachusetts.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in a high-volume surgical setting is preferred.
- Additional Information: The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights, with scheduled short calls approximately twice every four weeks. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in supporting surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.
