Job Summary:
The Postpartum Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Charlevoix, Michigan. The role involves providing comprehensive care to postpartum patients, including stabilization, education, and support during the recovery period following delivery. The RN will work independently within a Level 1 nursery environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through vigilant monitoring and intervention.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 0700 - 1930, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts.
• Required Qualifications: MI RN license, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE. Candidates must demonstrate at least one year of relevant experience in labor and delivery, triage, and emergent cesarean sections. Experience caring for low-risk, pregnant patients, as well as stabilizing preterm and high-risk neonates, is essential.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working independently in a Level 1 nursery and stabilizing sick newborns with interdisciplinary team support.
• Additional Information: The candidate must be comfortable working with neonates 35 weeks and older, stabilizing sick newborns efficiently, and preparing them for transfer to higher-level care. Scrubs are provided and laundered.
