Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) on the Post Partum Floor is sought for a night shift position at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing high-quality care to low-risk pregnant patients, stabilizing preterm and high-risk neonates for transfer, and working independently in a level 1 nursery environment. The position requires competence in emergency stabilization and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

Job Details:

• Position: Labor and Delivery/Post Partum Floor RN
• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 pm 7:30 am, 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• End Date: 11/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: MI RN license, Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE, and one of the following: Intermediate Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), National Certification Corporation (NCC) Certified EFM (C-EFM), or Inteleos Certification in Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-FM).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant labor and delivery, triage, and neonatal stabilization experience.
• Additional Information: The RN must have relevant experience in labor and delivery, triage, emergent cesarean sections, care for preterm and high-risk neonates, and the ability to stabilize sick newborns for transfer. Scrubs are provided and laundered. Candidate must submit a professional profile and two professional references.
