Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse is needed at a healthcare facility in Conroe, Texas. This role involves providing patient care during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal periods in a busy labor and delivery unit. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team to support mothers and their newborns.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); experience in labor, postpartum, and newborn care; at least 1 year of clinical experience; Texas nursing license or eligible for licensure in Texas; excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience; previous employment in a mother/baby unit is advantageous
• Additional Information: This position involves caring for patients during labor and vaginal delivery procedures, C-sections, and postpartum care, with equipment including GE monitors, Panda warmers, Novi, Neptune EMR CPN, and Meditech. The role requires a team-oriented, motivated, independent, and flexible personality.

• Floats: Float: Float rotation may be required
