Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Texas City, TX. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy, Level 4 trauma emergency department with a focus on acute patient assessment, management, and critical care procedures. The candidate will work during night shifts, contributing to a fast-paced environment dedicated to patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift hours, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with post-operative and organ donor patient care, evidence-based practice and process improvement, strong patient and family communication skills, participation in multidisciplinary care coordination, ICU protocol familiarity (AIDET, bedside shift report, safety rounding).
• Responsibilities: Providing advanced emergency care including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, administration of critical care infusions, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and post-operative patient care.
