Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse position available in Springfield, Oregon. This role involves providing high-quality care in a Level II Trauma-certified facility, performing a variety of high-acuity surgical cases across multiple specialties. The assigned schedule is during daytime hours, with a typical shift of 10 hours per day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license or pending license acceptance; Trauma experience required; 2 years of OR experience including total joints, neuro, general trauma, vascular, endovascular/hybrid, gynecology/urology, ENT/plastics, eyes, and robotics; BLS required; ACLS and PALS strongly preferred; Must have well-rounded experience in all specialties; 1 year of Epic experience is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Level II trauma units, DaVinci Robotic Surgery experience with DaVinci Xi and DV5 systems, prior experience with high-acuity OR procedures, and familiarity with complex surgical equipment.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must be comfortable performing laparoscopic cases, have recent intensive surgical experience, and be willing to float within scope as needed. Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly on Mondays, with initial start dates approximately four weeks from offer to accommodate compliance requirements.
