Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) for a travel assignment in Plano, Texas. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in a busy maternity department, ensuring patient safety and comfort during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The role is ideal for nurses with a passion for maternal health and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Plano, Texas
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Mother/Baby / Labor and Delivery Department
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Texas
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- No minimum experience required, but relevant clinical experience is preferred
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a flexible schedule
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in labor and delivery or maternity nursing
- Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
- Knowledge of obstetric protocols and neonatal care standards
- Additional Information:
- Position involves direct patient care in a high-volume maternity department
- Candidates should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
