Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) and Postpartum located in Dallas, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality care to obstetric patients in a newly renovated Womens Services Unit. The position offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment, utilizing advanced equipment and technology, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.

Job Details:

• Location: Dallas, TX
• Unit: Antepartum / Post Partum Floor (9 North)
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026
• Schedule: Weekend rotation every other weekend, scheduled to fill vacancies, with holiday requirements to be discussed upon interview
• Required Qualifications:
  • Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
  • 2+ years of hospital experience in High Risk Labor and Delivery or Antepartum
  • Certifications: BLS, NRP, Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
  • Experience with magnesium sulfate management and preterm labor management
  • Knowledge of documentation systems: Meditech and CPIN (primary)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ACLS, RNCMEDITECH preferred
• Additional Information:
  • The unit has 19 beds with patient ratios of 1:5
  • Float policy: As needed
  • Dress code includes blue insignia scrubs, with specific grooming standards such as neat and clean hair and no artificial nails or excessive piercings
