Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical Surgical (Med Surg) care is needed for a rotation shift position at a healthcare facility in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The role involves providing inpatient nursing care, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, documentation, and patient education within the Med Surg Unit. The position requires independent work during night shifts and managing patient care priorities effectively.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating Night Shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience required
  • Previous traveler experience required
  • Cerner electronic health record experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program required
  • Current Colorado RN license, or ability to obtain required licensure, in good standing
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required or completion at next available course within 3 months
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required or completion at next available course within 3 months
  • Basic computer skills and electronic health record experience required
