Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in the Irving, Texas area. This role involves providing specialized care in the labor and delivery unit at a healthcare facility. The candidate will be responsible for delivering quality patient care during the childbirth process in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, working 12 hours per shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have an active Texas RN License; 0+ years of experience; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
• Preferred Qualifications: Meditech experience, RNC certification, and additional advanced skills are preferred.
• Unit Specifics:
  • Bed capacity: 12 beds
  • Patient ratio: 2:1
  • Staffing: One unit technician per shift and one unit secretary during the day shift
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Floating policy: As needed
  • Procedures performed include circulating C-sections
  • Dress code: Facility-provided scrubs; neat, clean hair; body art covered; any visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• Additional Information:
  • No float rotation required unless necessary
  • Attendance policies and other unit guidelines apply
