Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position is available in Edmonds, Washington. This role involves caring for patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care. The position requires comprehensive knowledge of obstetric procedures and patient management within a fast-paced hospital environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts starting on 08/03/2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal care; certifications including ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP; valid licensure for active compact license (if applicable); experience in administration of blood and blood products, high risk delivery assist, epidural management, IV start, and sterile vaginal exams; excellent charting skills using Epic electronic medical record system
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk obstetrics, managing insulin drips, and maintaining central lines (CVC / PICC)
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The unit handles 200-300 births per month, with comprehensive interdisciplinary support for labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. Candidates should possess the ability to assist with cesarean deliveries, high-risk deliveries, and neonatal assessments.
